Dr. Ly is a graduate of the Great Lakes Implant Institute. His training there covered implant placement and restoration, soft tissue grafts, bone grafts and direct and indirect sinus lifts. At PL Dental, the surgical part and the restoration both happen in the Zimmerman office.

Dr. Ly earned both his bachelor's degree and his dental degree at the University of Minnesota. Before opening his own practices, he worked as an associate dentist at Aspen Dental in Minnesota. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
